1. for planning applications received by NYC on or before 24 October 2025 by:
clicking / holding the Ctrl key & clicking https://planning.scarborough.gov.uk/online-applications/
or
for planning applications received by NYC after 24 October 2025 by:
clicking / holding the Ctrl key & clicking https://publicaccess.northyorks.gov.uk/online-applications/
then:
2. inputting one of the following into the Search field at the bottom of the screen and clicking Search
- a keyword
- the planning application’s reference number, postcode or single line of an address
Currently, therefore, if you then wish to search the wider planning history of an address / site of a new application, you will need to search both of NYC’s planning website pages but will need to use a keyword, postcode or single line of an address (or old reference number) when searching on the older website page.
